The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the incorporation of a new step-down subsidiary named Leanluxe Hospitality Private Limited, further expanding its portfolio in the hospitality sector.
According to a regulatory filing made on May 11, 2025, Leanluxe Hospitality was incorporated on May 10, 2025, in India. The new entity is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Roots Corporation Limited, which itself is a subsidiary of IHCL.
As per the disclosure, Leanluxe Hospitality will operate in the hoteliering industry, offering a range of accommodation services including hotels, inns, resorts, holiday homes, and hostels. The newly formed company is expected to strengthen IHCL’s presence in the mid-to-premium hospitality segment.
The entire shareholding of Leanluxe Hospitality Private Limited is held by Roots Corporation Limited, thereby making it a 100% owned step-down subsidiary of IHCL.
This strategic move aligns with IHCL’s growth trajectory and its continued focus on tapping emerging market segments within the Indian hospitality space.
