The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum received a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, on Tuesday. The Prime Minister shared a photo of him on Twitter while getting vaccinated by the medical staff.
He tweeted, “While receiving the COVID-19 vaccine today. We wish everyone safety and great health, and we are proud of our teams who have worked relentlessly to make the vaccine available in the UAE. The future will always be better in the UAE.

Over the past few weeks, several Emirates officials have taken the dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Reportedly, the vaccine right now is in the third and final stage of its clinical trials and has been found safe and effective.
The UAE authority has given permission for the emergency use of the vaccine as a part of the country’s effort to protect healthcare workers and COVID-19 patients. The authority claims, the usage of the vaccine is aligned with the regulations and laws of the licensing procedures.
The United Arab Emirates has recorded 135,141 cases of the novel Coronavirus infection and 497 deaths.
