Another Indian Legend, ‘Irfan Pathan’ tests positive for COVID-19

Corona has started effecting many former veterans players of the Indian cricket team one by one. The latest case is of Irfan Pathan, who has given information about his COVID-19 positive by tweeting. Earlier Sachin Tendulkar, Yusuf Pathan and S.K. Badrinath was also found infected with Corona. In this way, four Indian players who have played in the recently played World Road Safety Series have become Corona positive.

Irfan gave information about his corona report coming positive on Monday night at around 10.15pm on Twitter. He wrote that “I have found to be corona positive, but I have not been diagnosed yet. Well I have isolated myself at home.”

Earlier on Saturday, Sachin had reported that he has been infected by the COVID-19 virus. After this, the corona test of Yusuf Pathan and former batsman S Badrinath the following day also came out to be positive. Now former all-rounder Irfan Pathan has also become a victim of it.

In the recent concluded World Road Safety Series, veterans and retired players from all over the world reached India and took part in this tournament. In its final, India Legends defeated Sri Lanka team and captured the series. The captain of the Indian team was Sachin Tendulkar and the team included big players like Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif. Now that the entire team was playing together in unison, the other players of the team after Sachin are also likely to be corona infected. The good thing at the moment is that so far only four players are reported to be positive.
