CNG price hike in Delhi-NCR and nearby cities

The price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in Delhi has been increased by ₹1 per kg by Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL). This new rate will also be applied to the National Capital Region (NCR) and some cities in Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. With this increase, CNG in Delhi will now cost ₹75.09 per kg.

There has been no change in CNG prices in Gurugram, Karnal, and Kaithal.

Here are the new CNG prices for various cities:

– Delhi: ₹75.09 per kg
– Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad: ₹79.70 per kg
– Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Shamli: ₹80.08 per kg
– Gurugram: ₹80.12 per kg
– Rewari: ₹79.70 per kg
– Karnal, Kaithal: ₹80.43 per kg
– Kanpur, Hamirpur, Fatehpur: ₹82.92 per kg
– Ajmer, Pali, Rajsamand: ₹82.94 per kg
– Mahoba, Banda, Chitrakoot: ₹81.92 per kg

Also, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman chaired a pre-budget meeting with Finance Ministers of all States and Union Territories. The meeting, held at Bharat Mandapam, was part of the Ministry of Finance’s preparations for the Union Budget 2024-25. Participants included Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna and Rajasthan’s Finance Minister Diya Kumari.

This pre-budget meeting follows consultations with various economic stakeholders, including economists, finance experts, and industry bodies. Sitharaman also chaired the 53rd Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council Meeting later in the day.
