The NET (National Ability Test) is an exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). These exams test individuals for Junior Research Fellowships in universities and colleges across the country.
The UGC NET is hed for over 80 subjects in June and December.

Due to the pandemic, various exams across the country had to be postponed.
The NET was initially scheduled for the 16th of September but the dates had to be changed again as these dates clashed with the ICAR entrance exams ( Indian Council of Agricultural Research ).
The NET exams will commence on the 24th of September, they will be hed till the 5th of November.
