There has been a huge debate surrounding the exam situation during the COVID-19 crisis. Particularly concerning final year graduation exams and central entrance exams like JEE and NEET.
Despite heavy criticism, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the dates of JEE and NEET. Per the announcement, the JEE exams are going to be taken from the 1st of September and NEET is to be held on the 13th of September.
While speaking to reporters the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia weighed in on the situation saying, “I think the Central Govt should postpone the NEET and JEE exams or they should find an alternative way of conducting the exams. Examination system across the world is evolving, there are 1,000 alternate ways to conduct exams.”
