Today, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur released the exam schedule for the GATE 2022. The exam will be conducted from February 5 to 13, 2022. The examination schedule for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 has been released by IIT Kharagpur. The exam will be conducted from February 5 to 13, 2022.
The exams will be conducted in two sessions – the morning session will be conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM and the afternoon session will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The exam will be held on February 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2022 in two sessions each day. The GATE 2022 tests will be held in a computer-based mode.
The institute will issue admit cards for the GATE 2022 on January 3, 2022. The admit cards can be downloaded from the website till the exam day. The institute also advised the candidates to carry a physical hard copy of the hall ticket on the day of the exam.
This year, IIT’s have introduced two new papers in GATE 2022 – ‘Geomatics Engineering (GE)’ and ‘Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (NM)’. There will be a different selection process for those candidates who are appearing for Geology and Geophysics papers.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam is conducted every year by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and six other IITs namely Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Madras, Roorkee and Indian Institute of Sciences IISc at Bengaluru on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
