The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Calicut, a premier institution under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, has announced recruitment for Project Leader and Project Engineer positions on a contract basis. The recruitment is for the Future Skill Prime 3DP/AM project, aimed at advancing 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies.
Available Positions and Qualifications
1. Project Leader (1 Post)
- Essential Qualification:
- ME/M.Tech in Design/Manufacturing Engineering (1st class or equivalent CGPA).
- Desirable Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Design/Manufacturing.
- Experience Required:
- Expertise in course material development, conducting training for additive manufacturing (AM), CAD, and reverse engineering.
- Strong communication skills.
- Remuneration: ₹50,000 – ₹65,000 per month (subject to performance-based increments).
- Age Limit: Below 35 years.
2. Project Engineer (1 Post)
- Essential Qualification:
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering (1st class or equivalent CGPA).
- Desirable Qualification:
- M.Tech in Design/Manufacturing.
- Experience Required:
- Hands-on experience in CAD/CAM, 3D modeling, and engineering design.
- Remuneration: ₹35,000 – ₹50,000 per month (subject to performance-based increments).
- Age Limit: Below 35 years.
Selection Process & How to Apply
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on qualifications and experience.
- The selection will be based on Test/Interview performance.
- The positions are initially for one year, extendable based on project requirements.
