
Under Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army successfully intercepted and destroyed multiple armed Pakistani drones that were spotted flying over Khasa Cantt, Amritsar, around 5 AM today, as per a statement from the ADG PI – Indian Army.
The Army confirmed that the hostile drones were instantly engaged and neutralised by India’s air defence units.
The statement described Pakistan’s action as a “blatant escalation” involving drone strikes and munitions along the western border, calling it an unacceptable attempt to violate India’s sovereignty and endanger civilians.

Photos and videos released by the Army show fragments of the downed drones and the explosives they were carrying.
The Indian Army reaffirmed that it will thwart enemy designs and remain resolute in defending the nation.
