Today at around 11:15 am, Pakistan violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir by firing small arms & shelling with mortars in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district. The Indian Army is retaliating.
On Friday also, Pakistan had violated the ceasefire late night and resorted to heavy firing and mortar shelling along the LoC Poonch district of J&K, officials said.
Pakistan has infringed ceasefire 40 times within the month of September.
Three army personnel were killed and an officer was injured on Tuesday as the Pakistani troops violated ceasefire along the LoC in the Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district. On September, a Junior Commissioned Officer was killed in ceasefire violation along LoC in Keri sector of Rajouri.
