The Indian Air Force has collaborated with the Indian Army for speedy induction of troops since the India-China dispute began in Ladakh. The collaboration was intended to sustain the forces that arose amidst the dispute.
In a tweet, Major General Arvind Kapoor wrote, “This joint capability between Army and IAF is more than adequate to sustain forces built up in recent times.”
The Indian army also activated a military hotline designed to help defuse border tensions with China earlier this week, following a group of youth who had been kidnapped by the Chinese.
