Government sources notified ANI, “The Defence Acquisition Council meeting on Tuesday accepted the recommendation for a made in India committed satellite for the Indian Army. The project for the satellite GSAT 7B will be conducted in partnership with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and would enable the Indian Army to enhance its surveillance in border areas.”
