Silver prices in Delhi moved higher on Tuesday, January 14, tracking the strong uptrend in global bullion markets and firm domestic demand. The precious metal has continued its upward momentum as international silver prices remain elevated amid supportive macroeconomic cues.

According to the latest data, silver in Delhi is priced at Rs 2,900 per 10 grams, while 100 grams of silver is available at Rs 29,000. The price of 1 kilogram of silver in the national capital stands at Rs 2,90,000 today.

On a per-gram basis, silver is trading close to Rs 290, marking a sharp increase compared with the previous session. The rise in domestic prices reflects gains in overseas markets, where silver has been supported by expectations of interest rate cuts by the U.S. Federal Reserve, softer inflation readings, and continued safe-haven demand amid global economic uncertainty.

Delhi’s silver rates remain broadly in line with prices seen across most northern and western Indian cities, with minor variations influenced by local taxes, transportation costs, and jeweller margins.

With silver already posting strong gains so far in January, market participants are closely monitoring global inflation data, central bank policy signals, and movements in international bullion markets to gauge the next direction in prices.
