Silver prices in Hyderabad surged to the higher end of the range on January 28, reflecting strong global cues and continued momentum in the domestic bullion market.

As per the latest rates, silver in Hyderabad is priced at Rs 4,00,000 per kilogram, among the highest in the country today. On a smaller denomination basis, 10 grams of silver costs Rs 4,000, while 100 grams is available at Rs 40,000. The elevated pricing follows a sharp rally in recent sessions, with silver significantly outperforming gold so far this year.

The strength in silver prices has been supported by firm international markets, where the metal has been trading close to record highs. Safe-haven demand amid geopolitical uncertainty, expectations of easier global monetary conditions, and spillover strength from gold have all contributed to the rally. Domestically, active futures market participation has also helped keep prices elevated.

City-wise variations in silver prices persist due to local taxes, logistics costs, and regional demand, keeping Hyderabad rates above most other major markets.

With silver trading near peak levels, buyers and traders in Hyderabad are closely monitoring global developments and daily price movements as volatility in precious metals remains high.
