IndiGo has issued a fresh update after days of significant disruption across its network, confirming that flight operations are showing early signs of recovery. The airline explained that a large number of flights had to be cancelled yesterday as part of a deliberate effort to reboot internal systems, crew rosters, and overall network planning. As a result of this reset, IndiGo operated a little over 700 flights on that day, covering 113 destinations.

According to the airline spokesperson, the scaled-down operations were necessary to ensure a stable and more reliable schedule moving forward. The strategy appears to be working, with IndiGo stating that it is already on track to operate more than 1500 flights by the end of today. This marks a substantial jump in daily operations and signals that the network is gradually returning to normal.

IndiGo also confirmed that more than 95% of its network connectivity has been restored. Out of 138 destinations in its current operations, the airline is now serving 135, suggesting that only a few routes are still affected as the recovery process continues. While acknowledging that challenges remain, IndiGo emphasized its commitment to rebuilding customer trust and restoring full operational stability as quickly as possible.

The airline expressed gratitude to government agencies and operational partners for their support throughout the disruption. It also extended a heartfelt thanks to passengers and staff for their patience during this difficult period, reiterating its apology for the inconvenience caused.
