TVS Motor Company has taken a significant step in redefining urban logistics with the launch of its new electric cargo three-wheeler, the TVS King Kargo HD EV, priced at Rs 3.85 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Designed specifically for the growing demands of the urban and semi-urban delivery segment, the vehicle combines advanced technology with a robust and reliable design, aiming to make last-mile delivery more efficient, safe, and comfortable.
The TVS King Kargo HD EV introduces several firsts in its segment, including LED headlamps and tail lamps to enhance visibility during night-time operations, a spacious cabin with fully rolling windows, and stylish door trims that improve ventilation. Its dedicated Power Gear Mode ensures superior torque even under heavy loads, while twin-axis rear-view mirrors help drivers navigate busy city streets with confidence. Notably, it is India’s first Bluetooth-enabled cargo three-wheeler, featuring TVS SmartXonnect™, which offers 26 smart connectivity features to make operations smoother.
Beyond its design and comfort, the vehicle is supported by TVS Connect Fleet, a web-based platform that provides fleet operators complete control and real-time visibility of their vehicles. With features such as tracking, remote asset control, alerts, reports, and intelligent dashboards, the platform helps ensure optimal utilization, better uptime, and streamlined operations.
On the performance front, the King Kargo HD EV doesn’t disappoint. It boasts a top speed of 60 km/h, a spacious 6.6-foot load deck with leaf spring suspension, and a water wading capacity of 500 mm. Charging is fast, taking just over three hours, and its ground clearance of 235 mm paired with the lowest loading height of 703 mm makes it practical for daily deliveries. Maneuvering tight city streets is made easy thanks to its compact turning radius of 3,420 mm, while its braking system ensures the shortest stopping distance with larger 200 mm drum brakes.
Seamlessly integrated into TVS Motor’s connected vehicle ecosystem, the King Kargo HD EV provides intuitive dashboards, actionable insights, and a mobile-responsive interface for on-the-go fleet management. The vehicle will first be available in key markets, including Delhi, NCR, Rajasthan, and Bengaluru. In addition to the EV variant, TVS Motor has also showcased a CNG version, which is expected to hit the market by the end of 2025.
