Mahindra & Mahindra has announced the commencement of bookings for its new SUVs, the XEV 9S and the XUV 7XO. As of 2.00 pm on January 14, 2026, the company reported consolidated bookings of 93,689 units across both models. The total booking value stands at over ₹20,500 crore, calculated at ex-showroom prices.
The XEV 9S and XUV 7XO expand Mahindra’s SUV portfolio and are positioned across different powertrain options. While the XEV 9S is offered as an electric SUV, the XUV 7XO is available with petrol and diesel engine options. The models are aimed at addressing varying customer requirements within the SUV segment.
According to the company, deliveries will be carried out in a phased manner across dealerships. Deliveries of the XEV 9S are scheduled to begin from the week starting January 26, 2026. Deliveries of the XUV 7XO have commenced from today.
The booking data reflects initial customer interest following the opening of bookings. Further updates on deliveries and order execution are expected as the rollout progresses.
