Tata Motors has posted robust sales growth for September 2025, reflecting steady demand across both domestic and international markets. For Q2 FY26, the company recorded total sales of 94,681 units, up 12% from 84,281 units in Q2 FY25.
Commercial Vehicles (CV) Drive Growth
The company’s commercial vehicle segment demonstrated significant momentum. Domestic CV sales rose 16% year-on-year in September, totaling 33,148 units compared to 28,631 units in September 2024. Key highlights include:

HCV Trucks: 9,870 units, up 6% YoY

SCV Cargo and Pickup: 14,110 units, up 30% YoY
International business for CVs also surged, with exports reaching 2,714 units in September, a strong 94% increase over last year. Overall CV sales, combining domestic and international markets, stood at 35,862 units, marking a 19% growth compared to September 2024.
MH&ICV Segment Shows Consistent Performance
The Medium & Heavy and Intermediate Commercial Vehicles (MH&ICV) category also witnessed healthy growth. Domestic sales in September 2025 were 15,669 units, up from 14,190 units last year. On a combined domestic and international basis, MH&ICV sales reached 16,759 units, compared to 14,839 units in September 2024. For Q2 FY26, total MH&ICV sales rose to 45,095 units, a 14% increase over Q2 FY25.
