The short video gives us a glimpse into the new model. Like its predecessors, Harriet and Safari, this SUV also has sleek LED headlamps. The bulging above the fog lights indicates that the micro SUV will don a rugged look. According to Hindustan Times Auto, it is also likely to get squared wheel arches and black cladding on the sides for the rugged looks.
The specifications of the model have not to be revealed yet, but it is assumed that the SUV will be equipped with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine as Tiago, Tigor, and Altroz.
The new model may be available in five-speed manual and automatic transmission with drive modes.
As reported by Hindustan Times Auto, Tata HBX will be based on the carmaker’s modular ALFA architecture. The car is likely to have a 7-inch infotainment system with a digital instrument cluster. It is likely that the car will have a wheelbase similar to Tigor.
