SML Isuzu, a well-known name in the commercial vehicle segment, has reported a decline in sales for January 2025 compared to the same period last year. The company registered total sales of 1,025 units in January 2025, reflecting a decrease of 22.3% from the 1,320 units sold in January 2024. This decline was observed across both cargo and passenger vehicle categories.

Cargo vehicle sales dropped by 11.8%, with 383 units sold in January 2025 compared to 434 units in January 2024. The passenger vehicle segment witnessed an even steeper decline of 27.5%, with sales falling from 886 units in January 2024 to 642 units in January 2025.

For the cumulative period from April 2024 to January 2025, SML Isuzu reported total sales of 10,618 units, marking a 2.8% drop compared to the 10,919 units sold in the same period last year. Cargo vehicle sales during this period stood at 3,153 units, down by 5.0% from the 3,320 units recorded in the previous year. Meanwhile, passenger vehicle sales reached 7,465 units, reflecting a marginal decrease of 1.8% from the 7,599 units sold during April 2023 to January 2024.
