Commercial vehicle manufacturer SML Isuzu Limited reported its production, sales, and export data for September 2025, showing strong growth in manufacturing and exports compared to the same period last year.

According to the company’s exchange filing, production stood at 1,049 units, up from 863 units in September 2024 — a 21.6% increase year-on-year. However, domestic sales declined to 812 units, compared to 988 units last year, indicating a temporary dip in local demand.

On a brighter note, exports surged over 100%, rising from 67 units in September 2024 to 138 units in September 2025, reflecting growing international traction for SML Isuzu’s commercial vehicles.

The company, which manufactures light and medium commercial vehicles, buses, and trucks, continues to focus on expanding its product reach in export markets while optimizing domestic operations.
