Automobile manufacturer, Mahindra on Saturday unveiled its latest entrant in the SUV space, XUV700. The new SUV is priced from Rs. 11.99 lakh.
Prices for the 5 seater manual transmission variants are MX petrol manual – Rs. 11.99 lakh, MX diesel manual – Rs. 12.49 lakh, AX3 petrol manual – Rs. 13.99 lakh, AX5 petrol manual – Rs. 14.99 lakh.
The prices for automatic variants will be revealed at a later date.
A successor to XUV500, XUV 700 has several new features including a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Apple Carplay, Android Auto connectivity, and a built-in Amazon Alexa voice assistant.
It also comes with wireless charging and a panoramic sunroof. XUV700 has a custom-built 12 speaker sound system designed by Sony, including a subwoofer. Other features include leather upholstery, electronic parking brake, dual-zone automatic climate control air purifier.
Coming to the exterior design, XUV 700 has a pop-up handle, 17 -18 inch five-spoke alloy wheels, and an LED headlamp unit with C-shaped DRLs that reaches the bumper. Unlike its predecessor, XUV 700 has many top-notch safety features like Forward Collision Warning (FCW) which warns you of a possible collision, Autonomous Emergency Brakes (AEB) to stop the car automatically before the collision occurs, lane departure warning and lane-keep assist.
The SUV is also equipped with seven airbags, ABS with EBD, and voice alerts for overspeeding.
XUV700 will be competing with other SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Hector, and Skoda Kushaq.
