Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), one of India’s leading automotive companies, has announced robust auto sales figures for September 2025, reporting a total of 100,298 vehicles sold, marking a 16% year-on-year growth, including exports.
In the Utility Vehicles (UV) segment, M&M sold 56,233 vehicles domestically, a 10% increase over the same period last year, while total UV sales, including exports, stood at 58,714 units. The company also recorded strong growth in Commercial Vehicles (CV), with domestic sales reaching 26,728 units, up 18% year-on-year.
Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO of M&M Ltd.’s Automotive Division, said, “In September, we achieved SUV sales of 56,233 units, a growth of 10%, and total vehicle sales of 100,298 units, a 16% growth compared to September last year. The boost from GST 2.0 and pent-up festive demand during the first nine days of Navratri drove strong growth in customer retail sales, with SUVs up over 60% and Commercial Vehicles up over 70% during the period. The surge in festive demand impacted trailer availability, and we are working to improve dispatches to our dealer network.”
