Hyundai will launch the Alcazar facelift in India in September as per Autocar India. It is going to be the company’s next major release before the early next year’s arrival of the Creta EV.
Numerous test mule sightings of the Alcazar facelift indicate specific design changes that will set it apart from the Creta. While the split headlight design might stay consistent, the grille and front bumper will be a bit different. The alloy wheels and side claddings are modified. At the back, it receives a fully updated tailgate with a new-look taillight that combines vertical and horizontal elements.
Like the Creta facelift, the new dashboard design has a twin-screen layout. The current 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine choices are going to be offered. The petrol engine produces 160hp and 253Nm of torque and comes with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The diesel engine produces 116 horsepower and 250 Nm and is available with a 6MT or 6AT transmission.
Hyundai’s latest model for the forthcoming festive season is scheduled to make its debut in September. The ex-showroom price of the current model is between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh, and the facelift is expected to cost more.
