Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) achieved impressive sales figures in FY 24-25, recording a total of 7,62,052 units sold. This includes 5,98,666 units in domestic sales and 1,63,386 units in exports.

HMIL also saw a solid performance in March 2025, with total monthly sales of 67,320 units, reflecting a 2.6% growth compared to the previous year. Domestic sales for March stood at 51,820 units, while export sales reached 15,500 units.

Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer of HMIL, highlighted the company’s strong market position in India, noting that Hyundai remains the second-largest passenger vehicle OEM in the country. The success of Hyundai’s diverse SUV lineup, particularly the Hyundai CRETA Electric (India’s first indigenous EV) and the new Hyundai ALCAZAR, contributed significantly to this growth. The Hyundai CRETA, a customer favorite, became India’s top-selling SUV in the Jan-Mar quarter of FY 24-25, with 52,898 units sold.

HMIL also surpassed notable milestones, including 2.5 million SUV sales and 1.5 million CRETA sales (domestic + exports). These accomplishments further solidify Hyundai’s leading role in India’s automotive market.
