Eicher Motors Limited has released the February 2026 sales performance of its unlisted subsidiary VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV), reporting year-on-year growth across overall truck and bus volumes.
Total Eicher Trucks and Buses Sales – February 2026
VECV reported total sales of 9,766 Eicher trucks and buses (inclusive of EVs) in February 2026, compared to 7,909 units in February 2025, reflecting a 23.5% YoY increase.
For the year-to-date (YTD) period of FY 2025-26, total Eicher truck and bus sales stood at 87,958 units, up 15.9% from 75,872 units in the corresponding period of FY 2024-25.
Domestic Sales Performance
Domestic Eicher sales in February 2026 reached 9,165 units, compared to 7,357 units in February 2025, marking a 24.6% YoY rise. YTD domestic volumes increased 14.0% to 81,341 units from 71,356 units.
Segment-wise domestic performance for February 2026:
SCV/LMD Trucks (<18.5T) recorded sales of 4,947 units versus 3,500 units last year, up 41.3%. YTD sales rose 23.5% to 43,851 units.
HD Trucks (≥18.5T) reported 2,588 units compared to 1,679 units in February 2025, registering 54.1% growth. YTD volumes stood at 21,532 units, up 13.6%.
LMD Bus sales declined 21.4% to 1,537 units from 1,955 units. YTD sales were marginally lower at 14,520 units, down 3.1%.
HD Bus volumes fell 58.3% in February 2026. On a YTD basis, HD Bus sales declined 24.1% to 1,438 units from 1,895 units.
Export Sales Performance
VECV exports grew 20.2% YoY in February 2026 to 220 units, compared to 183 units in February 2025. YTD exports rose 46.5% to 2,226 units from 1,284 units.
Export segment details for February 2026:
SCV/LMD exports stood at 374 units versus 298 units, up 25.5%. YTD volumes increased 36.1% to 3,871 units.
HD exports declined 23.3% to 184 units from 240 units. However, YTD HD exports rose 126.6% to 877 units from 387 units.
Bus exports increased 8.9% to 601 units in February 2026. YTD bus exports grew 45.6% to 6,617 units.
Volvo Trucks and Buses
Total Volvo Trucks and Buses sales were reported at 9,986 units in February 2026 compared to 8,092 units in February 2025, registering 23.4% growth. On a YTD basis, volumes increased 1.4%.
Total VECV Sales (Including EVs)
Total VECV sales, inclusive of EVs, recorded growth of 15.5% on a YTD basis during FY 2025-26.
