Honda Cars India is gearing up to launch the 2024 Honda Amaze, a major generational upgrade of its popular sub-compact sedan. Spied undisguised ahead of its official launch, the new Amaze promises to be a significant upgrade over the current model, both in terms of design and features.
Here’s a closer look at the 2024 Amaze
In the spy video, the 2024 Honda Amaze features a bold new look, with a refreshed front profile. It boasts redesigned headlights, a larger grille, and a new bumper, giving the car a more modern and stylish appearance. The bonnet maintains its muscular character lines, while the rear design borrows cues from the Honda City. The updated taillights now feature vertical slats, offering a unique touch compared to the City. A new rear bumper with four sensors and a neatly integrated rearview camera adds to the car’s refined exterior.

Inside, the 2024 Amaze sees a complete redesign, featuring a new dashboard layout inspired by the Honda Elevate. The cabin continues with the familiar black and beige color scheme, but now includes soft-touch materials on the door armrests for added comfort. The updated interior also comes with rear AC vents, ensuring a more comfortable experience for all passengers.
The 2024 Amaze will be equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, similar to the one in the Honda Elevate V and VX variants. A standout addition is the inclusion of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), making the Amaze the first sub-compact sedan in India to feature these safety technologies, although a 360-degree camera is absent.
The new Honda Amaze retains its reliable 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 89 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. It is expected to be offered with a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. With Honda discontinuing diesel variants, the 2024 Amaze will be available only with the petrol engine option.
