Famous Urdu poet, Rahat Indori dies due to a cardiac arrest, 2 days after testing positive for COVID-19.

He had tested positive for the novel Coronavirus on Monday and was admitted to Aurobindo Hospital in Madhya Pradesh.

The 70-year-old poet has written songs for Munnabhai MBBS and has been in extremely respected in the industry. According to the COO of Aurobindo hospital, Rajeev Singh, he was admitted to the hospital on Sunday, at night. Rajeev said “He was shifted to Aurobindo from a private hospital and his condition was critical. He breathed his last between 4.15 pm to 4.30 pm.”
