After 25th February, when an abandoned Scorpio car containing commercial-grade gelatin explosive was found outside billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s residence, Antilia, a handwritten threat letter addressed to Mukesh Ambani and his wife Neeta Ambani has been found in the vehicle, according to Mumbai Police.
“Police have deployed police personnel across the city and are conducting searches. The vehicle has been seized for investigation. A letter has been found inside the suspicious vehicle,” reported the Mumbai Police. The content of the letter remains unknown and is being kept classified by the Police for now. A source linked to ANI, however, has said that the letter was written in “broken English with grammatical errors” and that this episode was just a “trailer”.
The Mumbai Police has currently formed several perimeters around the Antilia building and near the area around South Bombay’s Carmichael Road where the car containing 20 gelatin sticks was found. Another suspected car, an Innova, is also currently being searched.
Security footage obtained from CCTV cameras that were installed in the location reveals an unidentified man wearing a black hoodie and a mask parking the car in the spot and stepping away from the vehicle. The police are currently analyzing various video footages from security cameras of different buildings in the area.
