Route Mobile, a global cloud communication platform provider, announced a key leadership reshuffle on Thursday with the resignation of CEO Gautam Badalia, effective July 17, 2025. Citing personal reasons, Badalia stepped down during a scheduled Board of Directors meeting.

In response, the board has re-designated Rajdipkumar Gupta, Founder and Managing Director of Route Mobile, as the new Chief Executive Officer. Gupta will continue in his role as Managing Director alongside the CEO responsibilities.

“This is a pivotal time for Route Mobile, and I’m looking forward to driving performance and delivering exceptional value for our customers. My focus will be on execution, operational excellence, and positioning the company for sustained success,” Gupta stated.

Additionally, Route Mobile has elevated Mr. Sammy Mamdani to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective the same day. Mamdani, previously Executive Vice President and Group Head – Global Operations, brings over 18 years of experience including stints at Protiviti, a Mumbai-based investment firm, and Cellent Technologies (India), which was acquired by Route Mobile in 2016. He holds an MBA from the University of Central Florida.
