Nishant Pitti resigns as CEO of Easy Trip Planners citing “personal reasons”

Nishant Pitti, co-promoter of Easy Trip Planners Ltd., the parent company of EaseMyTrip, has stepped down as CEO effective January 1, 2025, citing personal reasons. The resignation was officially communicated in a letter to the company’s board.

On Monday, Pitti announced plans to sell his remaining 14% stake in Easy Trip Planners via block deals. However, only 1.4% of this stake was sold on Tuesday.

Following the resignation, the company has appointed Rikant Pitti, another co-promoter, as the new CEO. In a statement, the company emphasized Rikant’s focus on driving strategic initiatives, fostering innovation, and enhancing customer experiences to solidify EaseMyTrip’s market position.
