Gravita India Limited has successfully concluded its postal ballot process, resulting in the appointment of Mr. Bhupendra Kumar Dak as a Non-Executive Independent Director. The postal ballot, conducted through a remote e-voting process, saw a significant majority of shareholders voting in favour of the resolution.
The scrutiniser’s report, prepared by Akshit Kumar Jangid of Pinchaa & Co., revealed that 99.4722% of the valid votes, amounting to 50,969,957 shares, were cast in support of the appointment. In contrast, only 0.5278%, equivalent to 270,455 shares, were against the resolution. The e-voting period spanned from 5th February 2026 to 6th March 2026, and the results were compiled in the presence of independent witnesses to ensure transparency.
The postal ballot was conducted in compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, and relevant rules, with Gravita India utilising the services of Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) for the e-voting process. Shareholders as of the cut-off date, 30th January 2026, were eligible to participate in the voting.
