Musk was supposed to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 22 to discuss various reforms and plans including the setting up of Tesla’s manufacturing plant in India.

Musk on April 10 had posted on Twitter that he was looking forward to meeting PM Modi in India. The immediate and actual reason for the postponement is yet to be disclosed but it is said that Musk has to attend the company’s Q1 earnings call on April 23 in the United States of America, the CNBC-TV18 report said.

As per the plan and discussions earlier, Elon Musk was supposed to stay in India for a couple of days, during which he would meet PM Narendra Modi, space startups including Agnikul and business leaders from various sectors.
