Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has announced the establishment of a distinct Renewable EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) business vertical, carved out from its existing Power Transmission & Distribution segment within the Infrastructure Projects division.
Fitch Ratings has assigned Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) first-time Long-Term Foreign- and Local-Currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) of 'BBB+', with a Stable Outlook.
Shares of the country's largest infrastructure player, L&T or Larsen & Toubro ended 1,7% lower at Rs 3,687 on the NSE after a brokerage note from Kotak Institutional Equities.

The meeting will also see the approval by the board on the unaudited consolidated and standalone financial results for the quarter ended June 30. Buyback of shares of L&T would mean a reduction in the existing shares of the company in the open market.
"We have achieved retailization of 82% in Q1 FY24 itself, much ahead of the Lakshya 2026 goal of greater than 80% retailization. In fact, we have been able to achieve most of our Lakshya 2026 goals almost three years in advance," said Dinanath Dubhashi, managing director and chief executive, L&T Finance Holdings Ltd.
The company has also clocked revenue of Rs 2,301 crore from Rs 2,006 crore which is a rise of 15% when compared to the previous fiscal year.
Shares of Larsen & Toubro gained over 3.5% on Wednesday and hit a day’s high of Rs 2,251 after the company announced that it has bagged a mega order worth more than Rs 7,000 crore.
