Unprecedented peace and progress in J&K seen: PM Modi on abrogation of Article 370

The official Twitter account of Narendra Modi tweeted that it was a historic day, as two years ago on the same day, a big first step had been taken towards a new Jammu and Kashmir, and since then there had been unmatched peace and progress in the Jammu and Kashmir

On Thursday, Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, had said that since two years ago when the abrogation of Article 370 occurred, there had been unprecedented peace and progress in Jammu and Kashmir.

PM Modi had said that two years ago today the first big step was taken towards a new Jammu and Kashmir. He also said this on the second anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370.

Article 370 had given Jammu and Kashmir the special status and the bifurcation of the former state into two different Union territories.

In the tweet, PM Modi had asked the public to head to the “Your Voice” section of the Volunteer Module on the NaMo App for other informative content, graphics, and more.

In August 2019, the Centre had abrogated Article 370 and bifurcated Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories.
