Taking a dig at all the people protesting against the farm bills and the tweets surfacing up in support of the same, PM Modi responded saying that they were shooting from the farmer’s shoulders and that they have always lied to them and are misleading them.
“Those who always lied to the farmers are shooting from their shoulders, they are misleading farmers.” he said.
Several tweets mocking PM’s statement have surfaced up following the statement.
Several protests in opposition of the bill were observed pan-India and the farmers of Punjab and Haryana have called for Bharat Bandh on Friday in opposition of the same.
