The Nation has lost an eminent leader, said the Union Cabinet on the demise of Minister Suresh Angadi

The Union Cabinet condoles the demise of the Minister of states for Railway, saying India has lost an eminent Leader, distinguished Parliamentarian and able Minister.

The Union Cabinet condoled the demise of the Minister of State for Railways, saying India has lost an eminent Leader,  distinguished Parliamentarian and able Minister. There was a two-minute silence from the Union Cabinet to pay tribute to Minister Suresh Angadi after his demise because of COVID-19.

The Cabinet also passed a resolution expressing profound sorrow. Suresh was a member of Bhartiya janata Party and a 4 time Member of parliament from the Belgavi Loksabha consistency. Previously  Mr. Suresh served as member, Standing Committee on Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution; Human Resources Development and Defence as well as Member, Consultative Committee, Ministry of Finance. He also served as member of the Joint Committee on Pension, Salaries and Allowances for Members of Parliament, the Advisory Committee on Central Direct Taxes, the House Committee and the Committee on Petitions.
