Vivekananda’s speech, deeply considering Hinduism and Indian culture, was widely praised and its echo is heard even today.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered Swami Vivekananda’s famous speech at the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893 and said its spirit has the potential to create a more just, prosperous, and inclusive planet. Vivekananda’s speech, deeply considering Hinduism and Indian culture, was widely praised and its echo is heard even today.

PM Modi tweeted, “Remembering Swami Vivekananda’s iconic 1893 speech in Chicago, which beautifully displayed the primacy of Indian culture. The spirit of his speech has the potential to create a more just, prosperous, and inclusive world.”

Along with this, On Saturday on the occasion of the agricultural festival Nuakhai people were congratulated by PM Modi. This festival is specially celebrated in Odisha and Chhattisgarh, the excellent efforts of the farmers and their role in nation-building were praised by PM. Regarding this, PM Modi tweeted, “Nuaakhai Juhar! Gratitude to everyone on this auspicious occasion. On the occasion of Nuakhai, we appreciate the excellent efforts of our hardworking farmers and their role in nation-building. I wish everyone good health. And wish you well.”
