SSC Paper Leak Case: Prime accused Telangana BJP Chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar gets bail

Sanjay Kumar was detained by police forces early on Wednesday morning after Warangal police marked him the primary suspect in the SSC paper leak case.

Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the state leader of the BJP, has been granted bail by the magistrate after a 7-hour debate between the prosecution and the Party council.

Bandi Sanjay’s bail petition has been filed by the legal team for the BJP. The judge granted conditional bail with a Rs 20,000 surety after an 8-hour case hearing. Tomorrow, he will be released.

Advocate Shyam Sunder Reddy who was the lawyer of Bandi Sanjay gave a statement, “Court has accepted our request and bail was granted to Bandi Sanjay furnishing with 2 sureties & Rs 20,000. Tomorrow morning, after furnishing the release order, he will be released from the Karim Nagar jail. Court has made a condition that he can’t leave India without permission:”

N V Subhash, the official spokesperson of the state party, welcomed the Hanumukona court’s decision and declared: “Finally truth won the political war orchestrated by CM KCR.”

“It’s a slap on the face of CM KCR and BRS party as they wanted to keep Bandi Sanjay inside the Jail and to prevent him to participate in PM programmes on April 8 in a false case,” Subhash added.

“But the victory will be finally of truth. It may take some seconds, minutes or hours , justice would always win the battle if we go through our history,” he stated.

Sanjay was accused of violating IPC Sections 120 (B) (conspiracy), 420 (cheating), 447 (criminal trespass), and 505 (1) by the Kamalapur police (b). (intent to cause fear or alarm to the public).

Three people were previously held in connection with the investigation, including a NaMo employee and Booram Prashanth, Sanjay’s social media advisor.

The Warangal police criminal conspiracy detained Bandi Sanjay and three other individuals for inciting disruption and spreading rumours during the ongoing SSC exams. For a period of 14 days, they are all being held in judicial detention.His attorney has also asked for bail.

Three people, including a minor, were held by Warangal police in connection with the SSC Hindi paper leak. The exam paper was distributed over Whatsapp shortly after the examination started.
