Puran Singh Fartyal BJP MLA from Lohaghat assembly Uttarakhand received a show-cause notice by the BJP ,seeking a reply in 7 days. He has been accused of tarnishing the image of the government and the organization.

The MLA alleged his own Government for joining hands with a corrupt contractor. He said that their was a case of corruption on the contractor despite this, his government has given him the tender worth 123 crore. He alleged the contractor for having fake documents.
“The matter of Tanakpur-Jauljibi road is of strategic importance. The documents of the contractor to whom this work has been given were fake. The BJP government had cancelled the registration of the contractor in 2017 and filed a case in the Tanakpur police station against 23 engineers,” Fartyal said.
“Action was taken against him at that time. Now, the BJP government has restored the tender of the same contractor against whom action was taken in 2017”, he added.
Fartyal also alleged Additional Chief Secretory and current Chief Secretory are accused of pressing files. He said that he is working according to PM Modis thought that there should be zero tolerance for corruption.
