
Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi was discharged from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Tuesday about 3 p.m., according to Dr. Ajay Swaroop, Chairman Board of Management of the hospital.
With a viral ailment, the senior leader was brought to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. When she was brought to the hospital on Wednesday, she was accompanied by her daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
Doctors at the hospital reported she was stable and recuperating well on Friday.
“Mrs Sonia Gandhi, Chairperson UPA, who is taken to the hospital for a viral respiratory illness, is stable and gradually recovering,” the hospital stated in a statement.
