In an explosion that occurred at a firecracker manufacturing factory in Sivakasi City of Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu, two people died tragically. The incident occurred on July 25 and due to this, Chief Minister MK Stalin extended his condolences to the bereaved families. In order to provide support, he announced a Rs 3 lakhs ex gratia payment to each family of the deceased.
The authorities swiftly were quick to respond to the incident and investigation into the matter is being conducted by police officials. The cause of the explosion is yet to be discovered as the investigation progresses.
MK Stalin expressed by saying that he was deeply saddened to hear the news of their death in an unexpected fire accident in Thaailpatti village near Sivakasi. His heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families.
In another incident, an explosion occurred in Himachal Pradesh’s Shimla at a restaurant in Middle Bazar which resulted in one being dead and the nine others being injured. Inspection has been conducted by the National Bomb Data Centre (NBDC) team at the restaurant for collecting evidence and ascertaining the cause of the blast. Interaction was done by the team with the injured individuals in the hospital, seeking important information related to the incident.
The National Bomb Data Centre (NBDC) was established in 1988 and operates under the National Security Guards (NSG) and plays an important role in Post Blast Investigation (PBI) activities, which are vital for understanding and preventing such accidents in the future.
