RBI, HDFC, ICICI Banks gets bomb threat mail demanding FM Nirmala Sitharaman’s resignation

The bomb threat email demanded the resignation of RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

Mumbai Police has said that RBI received a threatening email. It was said in the email that bombs would be planted in the RBI office, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank. The email demanded the resignation of RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

Police said that bomb threats were made at a total of 11 places in Mumbai. The sender of this threatening email has claimed to be associated with Khilafat India. Police went to all these places and investigated, but nothing was found.

According to the police, a case has been registered and investigation is ongoing.

In a threatening email sent to Mumbai Police, it has been said that bombs have been planted at 11 places in Mumbai city. It was said in the email that the blast is going to happen at around 1.30 pm on Tuesday.

After this, there was chaos and amid the panic, the police checked everywhere but nothing suspicious was found. In this regard, MRA Marg Police of Mumbai has registered a case and started investigation.
