Former Samajwadi Party (SP) and Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh died in Singapore on Saturday at the age of 64 after a prolonged sickness. Amar Singh was Secretary General of the Samajwadi Party and a member of the Rajya Sabha Party.
As per the reports, he had been admitted to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore and undergone treatment for kidney-related illness.

Amar Singh had previously received a transplant after experiencing kidney disease in 2013. The former Samajwadi member had announced earlier in March 2020 when reports emerged regarding Amar Singh’s dying: “Tiger Zinda Hai.”
