
Congress is showing its full force for the assembly elections to be held on November 30 in Telangana. Rahul Gandhi met with gig workers, auto drivers and sanitation workers in Jubilee Hills constituency on Tuesday, November 28. Rahul Gandhi said that if Congress comes to power in Telangana, it will consider bringing a law for the welfare of gig workers on the lines of the recently passed law in Rajasthan.
In a video shared by the Congress party, auto drivers and gig workers expresses their concerns to the Congress MP.
“We bring an auto from another city and drive it on rent; after paying diesel and fare, we have no money left. It is very difficult for us to survive. KCR government had talked about helping us, but did nothing,” an auto driver tells Rahul Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi said that after the Congress party comes to power, the Chief Minister and the concerned ministers will take decisions on welfare measures after holding a meeting with the workers.
However, this is not the first time that Rahul Gandhi has met auto drivers, gig workers. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had also met these people in Rajasthan, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and assured them while trying to understand their problems.

Well, the assembly elections in Telangana are scheduled to take place on November 30, followed by the counting of votes and declaration of results on December 3.
