Telangana Election 2023: BJP releases first list of 52 candidates, including 3 sitting MPs

BJP on Sunday released their first list of 52 candidates for Telangana assembly elections. BJP’s National General Secretary and sitting MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar has been given ticket from Karimnagar seat.

Telangana Election 2023: After the announcement of assembly elections in five states of the country, all the parties have started fielding their soldiers in the electoral battle. Now, the Bharatiya Janata Party has released the first list of candidates for the Telangana assembly elections on Sunday (22 October). In the state with 119 assembly seats, the party has announced candidates for 52 seats in the first list. In this, three MPs have also been given tickets, while 12 women have got tickets.

Following MPs have got ticket for the assembly elections — MP Karimnagar, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has been made the party’s candidate from Karimnagar seat. Among two other MPs, the party has given ticket to MP Dharmapuri Arvind from Koratla seat while Soyam Bapu Rao has been made the candidate from Boath seat.

These 12 women candidates got tickets

This time in the assembly elections, 12 out of 55 women candidates have been given tickets, giving preference to women candidates. Amarajula Sridevi has been given the ticket from Belpali, while T Arun Tara has become the candidate from Jukal Assembly. Annapurnamma Eleti has been made the candidate from Balkonda assembly seat. Dr. Boga Shravani has got the ticket from Jagtial seat. Kandola Sandhya Rani has been made the candidate from Ramagundam. Bodiga Shobha got the ticket from Choppadandi while Rani Rudrama Reddy was made the candidate from Sircilla. Megha Rani has got the ticket from Charminar, Kankanla Nivedita Reddy from Nagarjuna Sagar.

Similarly, Bhukya Sangeeta has been made the candidate from Dornakal while Rao Padma has been made the candidate from Warangal West. Chandupatla Keerthi Reddy has got the ticket from Bhupalpali assembly seat.

T Raja Singh’s suspension ended before releasing the list

The special thing is that before releasing the first list of candidates in Telangana, BJP has ended the suspension of its dynamic MLA T Raja Singh. Along with this, he has been made a candidate from Goshamahal seat of the state. Singh was suspended from the party in August last year. After this, the Central Disciplinary Committee of BJP has now issued a letter informing about ending the suspension of T Raja Singh.
