Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has reacted to DMK leader Dayanidhi Maran’s controversial statement regarding the people of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Tejashwi has condemned the statement of DMK MP. He said that labourers from Bihar and UP are in demand all over the country and if they do not go, life in other states will come to a standstill. People should understand this, but if such a statement has come, then we condemn it.”

Deputy CM of Bihar said that if he had said that only people of a particular caste are cleaning the drains, then there would have been a question as to why only people of one caste are cleaning the drains, but he says that the people of UP and Bihar are coming and cleaning the drains. If this kind of work is done here, it is condemnable. That’s why we all condemn it. Leaders of other states, irrespective of party, should avoid making such statements. This is a country. We the people of Bihar should respect the people of other states, and we expect the same from the people of other states. This kind of thing should not happen.

DMK MP Dayanidhi Maran had given a controversial statement regarding Hindi speakers. He said that Hindi-speaking people coming to Tamil Nadu from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar do construction work or clean roads and toilets.
