On Sunday, March 28, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed a public rally in Chennai, Tamil Nadu for the up-coming legislative assembly elections in the state.
Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in the rally and said that the only relationship possible in BJP is to touch the feet of BJP leaders and to bow down before Narendra Modi or Amit Shah.”
Rahul Gandhi said while addressing the rally, “I saw a picture of an elected representative touching the feet of Amit Shah. The only relationship possible in BJP is where you have to touch the feet of the leader of BJP, bow down before Narendra Modi or Amit Shah.”
Rahul Gandhi further added that It is unbearable for me to see the Tamil Nadu Chef Minister E Palaniswami bowing in front of Amit shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “When I see the Prime Minister controlling Tamil Nadu CM, making him touch his feet silently, I’m not ready to accept it. Tamil Nadu CM doesn’t want to bow in front of Amit Shah but he is forced to because of the corruption,” as quoted by news agency ANI.

Election Polls will be held for 234 seats in Tamil Nadu with the Congress-DMK and BJP-AIADMK alliance being the major groups contesting against each other.
