Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is grousing against the ally partner BJP. The break-up buzz grew large as the conversation chain has dried up between both the parties. Nitish is now going to hold a meeting with his party MLAs today as inference about his break-up with the BJP grows to a fever pitch. However, both the opposition parties Congress and RJD have reflected they are ready for Grand Alliance 2.0 if Nitish dumps the BJP.
Lalu Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal or RJD, head now by Tejashwi Yadav, and the Congress have also called for meetings today. Smaller parties Hindustan Awam Morcha and CPIML have also proposed unconditional support to Nitish Kumar.
However, former Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Chirag Paswan on Monday lashes out the JD(U) and dared it to take on the BJP directly instead of impeaching him of involvement in a ruse to dent Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s favor. Addressing a press conference, Paswan contended the chief minister faced “greater danger from his close aides than from me” even as he contended that Kumar has insulted former JD(U) national president RCP Singh, and had formerly humiliated Sharad Yadav and George Fernandes.
