‘Rajasthan tops rape cases under Congress’: JP Nadda addresses election rally in Dausa

On Thursday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed multiple election rallies in Rajasthan’s Dausa district, where he lashed out the Congress government in the state and CM Ashok Gehlot over alleged increasing crime cases in the state and women safety issue. JP Nadda addressed two election rallies in Dausa – One on Mahwa and another in Sikrai. Well, Dausa is the home district of Congress leader and formey Dy CM Sachin Pilot.

Attacking Congress rule in the state, JP Nadda said: “Today the government of Rajasthan is known for harassing women. Known for injustice and atrocities against women. Known for cheating and deceit with farmers. Rajasthan, which used to be a place of peace, is famous for the reason that today slogans of separation of head and body are being raised there.”

“According to the National Crime Records Bureau, today Rajasthan stands at number one in rape cases. Even the husband of the Congress MLA is implicated in a rape and murder case and is roaming freely,” alleged JP Nadda.

Claiming party’s victory in the upcoming state assembly elections, Nadda said: “The enthusiasm that I see among the youth, women and people here has made it clear that BJP’s victory is certain. Our aim is to change the fortunes and image of Sikrai in the next 5 years and move on the path of development.”

Earlier on Thursday, BJP chief released the party’s Sankalp Patra (manifesto) for the Rajasthan Assembly elections and made a list of promises.

Speaking on Sankalp Patra, JP Nadda claimed: “Today Bharatiya Janata Party has released its resolution letter. Currently, you get Rs 6,000 in a year under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, but once the BJP government is formed here, you will get Rs 12,000 in a year under Kisan Samman Nidhi.”

“Prime Minister Modi ji gives free ration to 80 crore people of the country through PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and takes 13.5 crore people out of the poverty line and takes them towards development,” said JP Nadda praising PM Modi.

Assembly elections in Rajasthan are scheduled to take place on November 25, in a single phase, followed by counting of votes and declaration of results on December 3, 2023.
